I used this Airvest & Helmet cleaner on my Charles Owen Matte black helmet and it went from looking used and dirty to having a brand new shine to it, with a delicious citrus scent. All it took was a few minutes out of my day for it to completely refresh my helmet. Convenient, all-natural & works better than any other cleaning solution I’ve used. This product is worth its weight in gold.
I decided to leave a common when I see their handwritten card come with my product. I got the helmet and air vest cleaner because that has always been a problem for me, can’t really get ride of the rigid mold. I was surprised by how good wrapped the product is. Here to support a new brand!
Pro:
- it does work. I haven’t cleaned my vest and helmet for several months. There’s a comparison before and after the cleaning. I used to throw the inside of my helmet into washing machine, but it never actually remove the molds.
- the smell isn’t too strong. One of my primary concern is I don’t like any strange smell absorb on my equipment while riding. I never tried other brand but this one effectively get ride of the sweat scent inside my helmet and air vest. You won’t smell anything unless you sniff really closely or when spaying.
- easy to use and low damage. Don’t need to say more here, it’s so much less damage and fast than throw the helmets into the washing machine and personally I would never do that to my air vest with gas cartridges on.
- it doesn’t get your stuff wet, it drys off quickly.
Con:
-it is not a magical cleaning potion that can get your stuff new and shine with one sweep. You do have to mob it with towel carefully. I got the picture result for my helmet after two spray mob and dry. Air vest just took one since it’s not that dirty.

In February of 2023, I fractured my spine while falling from my horse. Since then, I’ve worn my air vest every day. I had never thought to clean it until I saw an ad for this spray and realized how disgusting mine must be. The amount of dirt and grime that came off is insane. The smell isn’t overwhelming and I love that it’s all natural. It also worked wonders on my black Maya Delorez boot bag! I use it on my helmets too. I highly recommend this cleaner!

You know how you get samples of stuff from events and you are like, "that was fine, but I won't spend my money on it."?
Well, after using up half of my sample, I stole my daughter's sample, then bought the bottle. To be honest, I don't know if it cleans well. I use it because it makes my helmet and boots smell nice in the stinky, soggy, 100% humidity summer (and fall). I moved the sample bottle to my car and spray the children's stinky feet/ shoes with it.

Wish I had taken a before picture of my 4 year old air vest can’t believe the result , it looks almost like a new vest it was so dirty and I was convinced this product wouldn’t make a difference. Now I don’t have the dirtiest vest at the barn anymore and everyone is asking what I used

Like most riders, I sweat when I ride. I never really thought about how dirty my helmet and airvest were getting until I tried this cleaner. They smell and look fresh, and I feel much better using them every day now!
The product is fantastic however it takes a lot of it to clean properly which makes it unaffordable unfortunately.

This product is perfect. Not to perfumy! Just right. Easy to use. Just sprayed it on my helmet and bag let it dry and air out and sooo much better. Love it. Also tried several other products and they are equally effective and of high quality. Vendor super easy to work with very knowledgeable and offered suggestions for my specific needs. Will definitely purchase again and use for gifts for my equally sweaty equestrian pals.

I first bought this spray last year during the summer, and when I say it is a game changer it is not an understatement!!! My helmet can get pretty gross during the summer due to my braids and protective styles that requires a lot of gel, and this spray has cleaned it sooo nicely. Usually I would be using a disinfectant wipe to clean the liner but that was causing me irritation because it would mix with my sweat- and it was just so gross!! But with this I have not been having any irritation at all! And the smell is too good!! I have been secretly using this as body spray after my lessons! 🤫 that’s how good it smells!

Since I tried the sheath cleaner & was super impressed I decided to try this. Yummy! The inside of my helmet has been transformed! And my vest is finally clean & smells fantastic! I'm sold! Getting all the Gilded Paddock products!
The Gilded Paddock’s Helmet Spray has been amazing!!! As someone with very sensitive skin I am so happy to say that I have experienced no adverse reactions due to its incredibly gentle ingredients. I have also used it to clean my Horse Pilot Riding Vest, which has always been a huge challenge! Lliterally nothing has worked until now!!! :)
