I have a 5 year old grey horse who had never had his tail washed and it was turning pretty yellow. I washed it once with the Clarify Shampoo and applied the Shimmer Leave in Conditioner and his tail looked sooooo good! I love that I didn’t have to use the purple shampoo to get good results.
Really love this shampoo for all three of my geldings ~ it gets them super clean & leaves their coats shining & manes and tails easy to comb through.
Also used this as a clarifying bath after my one gelding got hives from a few fly bites. It really soothed his skin & the hives cleared up quickly.
The gilded paddock is nothing short of amazing! I own a grey gelding and his side hustle is rolling in the dirtiest patch he can find. We live in Georgia and have the worst red clay. Nothing seemed to get the stain out of him- even tried purple shampoo but there was always a hint of orange still left. Once I tried the clarify shampoo, I was so amazed! I have never had to use purple shampoo again! The stains are gone within one wash! I definitely recommend this product for people that have dirty greys or really any color horse! Clarify shampoo is a great detox. Once you have detoxed your horses skin- the clarifying shampoo leaves a barrier that helps keep the dirt away! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

I didn't know Georgia red clay stains were so challenging! It makes me so happy to hear that Clarify finally gave you the results you were looking for — without the harsh/toxic purple dyes.
One of the reasons I created this formula was for horses just like yours — the ones who roll in all the wrong places and still deserve to shine without toxic chemicals. I'm especially thrilled that you noticed the detoxing effects and how clean skin makes all the difference long term.

The shampoo is like water and had to shampoo twice to get a lather
Hi Tammy, thank you for your feedback. Clarify is intentionally more fluid and low-lather, as it’s made without sulfate foaming agents or extra gums/fillers. It’s designed to cleanse effectively while supporting coat and skin health. While it may feel different when used on human hair (as you experienced), application on a very wet horse coat with added water to activate makes a big difference — I’d love to hear what you think once you’ve tried it on your horse. Absolutely love the fresh smell of the product. Shampoo was nice as it rinsed out quickly. The finishing spray is great as it was easy to brush out manes and tells without greasy residue. I’m a big fan and will not be using anything else. Would be great if they added a whitening shampoo as well!

So I haven't actually tried this shampoo on my boy yet but I have started washing my hair with it. I absolutely love the smell. My hair feels clean and is so shiny! I cannot wait to try it on my horse!

This shampoo is simply amazing. I use this on client horses before body clipping.
I love that the products are USEF & FEI safe. The natural ingredients make it easy to use on multiple horses as well. The rich lather you get when applying directly to the horse lets me know I’m getting them clean to the skin. The horses are so shiny and soft after using this shampoo. The shampoo smells SO good. The clients love how healthy their horses’ coats, manes, and tails are.
I love the smell of this shampoo so much! Not only is it gentle on my horses skin, but works so well. I only wish they sold a human version!
This shampoo really helps to get the horses clean without dehydrating their coats. Some shampoos seem to make their skin and coats dry, but this product just helps to get them thoroughly clean without causing dryness. Great for horses with sensitive skin.
This stuff is absolutely incredible! First off, as soon as I lathered it up on my horse, another boarder walked over and was like "omg what smells so good?" and she was talking about the Clarify shampoo. It truly smells amazing! Secondly, this stuff will get all those harsh yellow stains right off your horse. As someone with a horse who is 95% white, the Clarify will be my new go to. And lastly, this stuff will make your horse SO SOFT. I could not stop cuddling him afterwards lol. 1000% recommend!
